An Overview of Your 2014 RR Donnelley Benefits
The following benefits are available to you if you are a regular full-time or benefits-eligible part-time employee of RR Donnelley or a participating subsidiary. Some of your benefits are provided automatically to you at no cost. Other benefits give you the ability to choose a type and level of coverage from among several options. Please consult your Benefits Guide and Summary Plan Descriptions for more information on each of the benefits details regarding eligibility and waiting period requirements.

  • Medical Program

    Provides comprehensive medical coverage for you and your family. Coverage choices include different levels of medical coverage and cost levels including options that allow you to enroll in a Health Savings Account (HSA) or a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA). The choices available to you depend on where you live (your zip code on file with RRD) and will be indicated on your personalized health and welfare benefits enrollment worksheet.


  • Dental Benefit Program

    Provides comprehensive dental coverage for you and your family.  Coverage choices include the MetLife Dental PPO and PPO Plus Options.  

  • Vision Benefit Program
    Provides comprehensive vision coverage for you and your family through your choice of UHC Vision and EyeMed.                                                                        
            
  • Health Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

    Allows you to reimburse yourself for eligible out-of-pocket health care expenses with before-tax contributions you make to your Health Care FSA account during the plan year.

  • Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (Dependent Care FSA)
    Allows you to reimburse yourself for eligible dependent care expenses with before-tax contributions you make to your Dependent Care FSA account during the plan year.

  • Basic Life Insurance
    Provides a company-paid life insurance benefit equal to one times your annual base pay, up to a maximum benefit of $125,000.

  • Voluntary Employee Life Insurance
    Allows you to purchase life insurance coverage in addition to your Basic Life Insurance, up to seven times your annual base pay, up to a maximum coverage amount of $1,250,000.

  • Voluntary Employee Accident Insurance
    Allows you to purchase coverage for accidental death and other losses up to seven times your annual base pay, up to a maximum coverage amount of $1,500,000. 

  • Voluntary Dependent Life Insurance and Voluntary Dependent Accident Insurance
    Allows you to purchase life and accident insurance for your spouse and children.

  • Short-term Disability Income Program
    A company-paid benefit that provides wage replacement for up to 26 weeks if you are absent from work because of an approved non-occupational illness or injury after you've been off work for seven consecutive days. Weekly benefit is equal to 60% of your weekly base pay. 

  • Long-Term Disability Income Program
    A company-paid benefit that provides wage replacement during periods of disability that extends beyond the period covered by the Short-Term Disability Income Program or Worker's Compensation. Monthly benefits are equal to 60% of your monthly base pay, up to a maximum of $10,000 per month. 

  • RR Donnelley Savings Plan
    You will be auto-enrolled into the RR Donnelley Savings Plan ("Savings Plan") with a 3% before-tax contribution and invested in the Target Date Fund that most closely aligns to the year in which you turn age 65.  You will receive a kit explaining the Savings Plan in further detail, including an auto-enrollment notice, which explains how to opt out of auto-enrollment.  The Savings Plan allows you to save for your retirement through before-tax Deferred Compensation Savings 401(k) contributions, Roth 401(k) contributions or through after-tax Voluntary Savings contributions.  You choose how to invest your contributions from different investment funds.  Before-tax contributions and all investment earnings are tax-deferred, which means you don't pay taxes on the money until you take it out of the plan.  


  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
    Provides you the opportunity to purchase RR Donnelley stock in a systematic, low-cost way through payroll deductions.

  • Employee Assistance Program
    A company-paid, confidential program designed to provide support through many of life's stages and events. The services include practical parenting advice and child care referral assistance, mature transitions, elder care issues, health and wellness information and tips, legal consultations, education options assistance, as well as support in resolving personal problems that may affect your health, well-being and job performance.

  • Adoption Assistance Program
    A company-paid program that provides employees with financial assistance up to $2,000 for eligible adoption expenses.
